II. My second help comes  from mount Salem - peace

       1. This helps me to know that God is the foundation of peace.  Heb. 7: [1] For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; 2] To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace; 3] Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.

       2. The high priest in the temple make a sacrifice a type of how I can have peace with God. This will help me go to the top of mountain

       3. The top of mount Salem is called mount Calvary

       4. I come to the Lord on Calvary and He will help me.

       5. I see he shed His blood for me He wants to help me.

       6. I cry unto the Lord and He will listen to my prayer and he will give what I have asked Him.

Psalm of degrees  -121- Verses 3-8

1] I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. 2] My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. 3] He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. 4] Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. 5] The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. 6] The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. 7] The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. 8] The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

My help comes from the Lord on the hills

    2. The Lord Jesus Christ that keep you will not slumber.

The story of the woman asking the king to pay her what the thieves stole from her. She said I was asleep why because You are awake with your police. The king gave her because she put her trust in him and his government. When we trust the Lord he will take care of us because He does not slumber nor sleep.

II. He will keep you. The LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand

As long as there is light there is shade and as long as you are walking in the light the Lord Jesus Christ  the Lord will be with you will never leave at all. On the right hand when you are doing the right thing He will be always with you.

And he said to a lad, Carry him to his mother. 20] And when he had taken him, and brought him to his mother, he sat on her knees till noon, and then died.

The glory of God kills every sinner

If you look directly to the sun you become blind this is to teach us also we cannot see the glory and live.

Amen.
