Prayer Letter Dec. 2003

Dear Praying partners:

God commanded us to pray in the NT for our loved ones, for our enemies, and for ourselves. We are encouraged to pray without ceasing. In the OT we are commanded to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. I wondered why for the peace of Jerusalem?! God is commanded us to pray for the people of Jerusalem to have peace with God.  “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.”  Ps. 122:6

We have been praying for the peace of Jerusalem for forty two years. We preached visited and witnessed to thousands of people and hundreds have accepted Christ as their personal savior.  We baptized over one hundred and twenty and more then ten are serving the Lord now. We need to tell every person about the Lord Jesus Christ who died on Calvary and shed his blood for the remission of sin. The people in Jerusalem in our area pass by Calvary every day and they do not believe what happen at Calvary because the Muslims do not believe Christ died on the cross and the Jews do not believe that Jesus is the Messiah.

We want to thank all those who are praying for this city and for us and may the Lord bless you. Keep praying for us as we continue spreading the word of God showing the people the plan of salvation in all possible methods.

I thank the Lord for the three preachers under training that they are growing spiritually. They are burdened to win their relatives and friends to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal savior.

We thank the Lord for the increase in the attendance, and we are praying that the Lord will give us 20% more in attendance this year over last year.

Yours in Christ
