1. The King
James Translators did not
doubt the Textus Receptus and the Hebrew Masoretic text. They said there
is no perfect translation to the extent we can consider that translation
inspired. On the other hand we must consider this translation to be the
Word of God. |

2. John Smith
believes that the original
Hebrew and Greek are given by divine inspiration and in their first
donation were without error most perfect and therefore canonical.
Are we ready to believe that God can keep our salvation, but he is so
weak that he could not keep his word as he promised.

3. John Owen
He is speaking of
translations and not another text beside the Textus Receptus and the
Masoretic Hebrew text. He did not say let us translate the
Vaticanus Greek text. The vaticanus Greek text is the text send by
Eusebius to the emperor
