I  WANT TO SEE GOD

Many people say to me if only I could see God  I will believe?  These people are ignorant  of what God  have said in the Bible.  "No man  hath seen God  at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom  of the Father, he hath declared him." John 1:18

The bible tells us no man see God  and lives. Moses asked to see God  but God  said why man can't see God  and live?  The question is answered by the bible  "All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." Rom.  3 : 23  All the people living on earth have sinned and they can't  see the glory of God. If they see the glory of God  then they will be judged by the holiness of God,  who will never accept sin to be in his presence.

When you say I want to see God,  you are actually saying I want God  to judge me now for my sins without his love, mercy and forgiveness.  God  loves us and he knows,  that person who is saying I want to see God,  is saying that of ignorance.  If God  does not love man he would appear to every person who will say  "I want to see God  then I will believe."

When God  will show His glory to any man that person will die two deaths. He will first die the physical death and his relatives and friends will bury him.  Second he will open his eyes in hell  "22. And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; 23. And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. 24. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. 25. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. 26. And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. Luke 16:22-26    He will go to the place of torment he will suffer forever and ever he will be in the place  "Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched."  Mark 9: 48

This is why God  loved us so much that he came down and left the glory in heaven so that we can see Him and hear what he wants us to believe and do. God  was in Christ Jesus  “In the beginning was the word and the word was with God  and the word was God.  The same was in the beginning with God.”  John 1: 1, 2  This God  who created every  thing appeared in the form  of a man  "And the word was made flesh, and dwelt among us,  and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the father, full of grace and truth." John 1:14 "... God was manifested in the flesh ..."  I Tim. 3:16.  God  loved us very much and he wanted us to believe in him so that he will be able to forgive us our sins.

Sin entered into the world  by one man "… Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:"  Rom.5: 12

Adam have sinned and all human beings were born in sin.  Second Adam, the Lord Jesus Christ God in flesh, have obeyed God  as a man and he was accepted by God  and he died for all men so that whosoever believeth in him will have everlasting life. "… And not as it was by one that sinned so is the gift: for the judgment  was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offenses unto justification. For if by one man’s offense death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in the by one, Jesus Christ.  Therefore, as by the offense of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous."    Rom. 5: 16-19

when we believe on the Lord Jesus Christ  "He takes away our sins and He gives us his righteousness."  As we can see in this verse  "For he hath made him to be sin for us who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God  in him."  II Cor. 5: 21  So when we accept Christ as our savior he will take away our sin so that we can see God. But still we can't see the glory  of  God,  because we are still living in a corruptible  sinful body.  When we accept Christ we are born again or born from above.  Now we have eternal life and we will never die the second death and we will never go to hell or be tormented by the devil in the lake of fire. When we accept Christ, we are born again, but we remain in the old sinful corruptible body. Because we are still in this corruptible body, we still can't  see the glory of God. If we see the glory of God still we will die, but we die in the flesh and we go to be with the Lord Jesus Christ in heaven.  We will not go to hell to be tormented by fire.

The testimony of born again people when they die they say they see Jesus. "And said, behold I see the heavens opened and the son of man standing on the right hand of God."  Acts 7: 56   Stephen saw the glory of God and then he was with the Lord.

You still want to see the glory of God and die with out a hope and to be condemned for ever never to escape from the burning lake of fire. God loves you my dear reader and he came as the Lord Jesus Christ to die for you so that you don't have to be tormented for ever. Believe in what he said and accept him as your only way to heaven.   Pray to him today and say to him "Lord Jesus Christ  I am a sinner I ask you to forgive me my sins by the blood you shed on calvary come into my heart and give me eternal life. I ask this in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ."
